Microsoft’s new Zune Players to be available tomorrow!

If you are not an Apple fan, a Good News for you! Microsoft’s Zunes second generation is back. Microsoft’s new Zunes, portable media player will hit stores tomorrow. The Zune 4, Zune 8 and the Zune 80, along with the Zune Marketplace update will be readily available. It will be available in a broad range of colors and bedecked with tattoos, custom engravings, and other artwork. Called “Zune Originals,” the new Zune range will feature a selection of artwork by 18 artists and design studios.

They are: Colletivo Studios, Catalina Estrada, Laurent Fetis, Sam Flores, Klaus Haapaniemi, Pierre Marie, Kenzo Minami, Parskid, Mike Perry, Phunk Studios, Chisato Shinya, Skwak, Iosefatu Sua, Tado, Nobumasa Takahashi, Ramiro Torres, Darvin Vida, and Steve Wilson, with 27 total designs to be offered.

The new Zunes are going to be available in models of 4GB ($149.99), 8GB ($199.99), and 80GB ($249.99). The 80GB model features a hard drive instead of flash memory. The new Zune 2.0 80GB offers a much larger screen, a FM radio, wireless player-to-player sharing, Wi-Fi syncing with your PC, and a rear panel that can be customized with some cool artwork. Panasonic unveils Next-Gen Blu-ray Disc Player

Panasonic today introduced a next-generation Blu-ray player which is said to be the first with the format’s Final Standard Profile feature. The DMP-BD30, which replaces the $599 DMP-BD10, will be the industry’s first player to use support Final Standard Profile.

Final Standard Profile is an advanced function added to the Blu-ray standard, which opens the door to new functions such as Picture-in-Picture (which displays a second image in a sub window) and Audio Mixing (allows the consumer to switch the sound between the main and sub windows). It is also the first Blu-ray deck to also feature the inclusion of an SD card slot for playback of high-definition content recorded in the AVCHD format. UK based New Medium Enterprises (NME) HD VMD player launched in Indiahas launched in India its High Definition Versatile MultiLayer Disc (HD VMD) Player, which aims to be a competiter to Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD. It is the next generation disc and player format designed to provide the best quality images on your High Definition television at a very affordable price. The company also started selling an HD VMD Bundle box, featuring the player and five HD VMD titles in Hindi, Tamil, English.

Zen Media Player to be available in India in 4GB and 8GB capacities

Creative Zen Media Player will now be available in India through India Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt. Ltd. (IDLDPL). Creative ZEN player is a Credit Card-sized music, video and photo player, and is available in 4GB and 8GB capacities.
Zen Media Player to be available in India in 4GB and 8GB capacities The player has a 2.5-inch colour screen with 320 x 240-pixel resolution and supports up to 16.7 million colours. You can watch 16 hours of videos, enjoy up to 1,000 of your favourite songs and share hundreds of photos with your friends.

The Creative ZEN player supports AAC, MP3 and WMA formats. You can now listen to up to 4,000 of tracks that you have ripped from CDs through your iTunes software. Audio books and daily news reports from websites can also be downloaded on this.
