The two models of MapmyIndia Navigator -Delphi Nav 200 and AMAX 06GP5A - use satellites to determine the location. While entering any destination across India, the MapmyIndia Navigator will guide you to your destination with visual map instructions supported by voice prompts.

The Navigator offers complete coverage of streets, localities, sub-localities, and points of interest in 18 major cities as well as access to 55,000 towns and villages connected by national and state highways, important landmarks within 150 cities and 200,000 tourist and business points of interest across the country.

Blaupunkt has announced the TravelPilot Lucca 3.5, a circular GPS unit. It is presently aimed for Europe’s roads. This TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 features a 3.5-inch LCD, a Centrality Atlas III Dual Core 400MHz processor, detailed mapping of the UK and Ireland, major European roads, and detailed European mapping available at extra cost.

It also has a SD/SDHC/MMC slot, and locations of speed traps to save you a ticket.
It calculates the quickest, shortest and optimal route in record time and it even overlooks typing mistakes in the destination input. Samsung Electronics is launching its first touch-screen, full Internet-browsing mobile phone to occupy the domestic smartphone market in Korea.

The Korean electronics giant will start selling the M4650 ‘Multi-touch Phone’ via LG Telecom. The handset has a 2.8-inch LCD screen which doubles as a keypad, which is smaller than iPhone’s 3.5-inch display and thus is used with a stylus pen.
The smartphone market is getting bigger in other countries thanks to the development of the wireless Internet infrastructure. Toshiba announced a new 22.2 inches PC LCD monitor, QUXGA-W LCD with a resolution of 3,840×2,400 pixels. It is said to be four times as sharp as typically larger 1920×1200 displays and even sharper than the 1680×1050 images often generated by LCDs at the same size. This gives it a 200DPI density closer to that of photo paper with a full 16.7 million colors.

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., announced its SyncMaster series of LCD displays with three new displays i.e. 920BM, 920WM both 19-inch monitors and 2220WM widescreen monitor.

All of the new monitors boast built-in speakers, which can either save consumers the cost of buying them separately, or save space on a desk by allowing them to ditch stand-alone speakers. Thus they are ideal for users looking for a compact solution. All three LCDs also share in common technologies which Samsung says deliver enhanced performance and image quality - an example of this is a response time of 5ms GTG.
