Transcend has launched in India its latest ultra-tiny USB flash drive, the JetFlash T3. Weighing only 2g, the compact JetFlash T3 is designed to be extra-rugged. Transcend’s T3 comes in 1 GB and 2 GB versions.

The flash drive can fit into any USB slot and works with Transcend’s JetFlash elite data management tools that run directly from the T3 without having to install any software on the PC. The JetFlash T3’s durability and tiny footprint allows it to be carried in places where ordinary flash drives do not fit. It can be used as a mobile phone dongle or a keychain accessory, and can be stored safely in a wallet without risk of compression damage. The US-based leading supplier of flash cards and flash drives, EDGE Tech Corp has recently announced the release of their new DiskGO USB Flash Drive with 32GB lagre capacity for less than $399.95.

The flash drive features a transfer rate of up to 480Mb/s and it has the ability to store more than 21,000 photographs (around 1.5MB of size).
