Nokia 5610 XpressMusic and Nokia 5310 XpressMusic launched in India

Recognizing the increasing role of mobile phones in music consumption, Nokia India has announced the launch of two new phone, the Nokia 5610 and Nokia 5310 XpressMusic. Both the handsets are optimized for an enhanced music experience and come with an iconic design. Nokia 5610 XpressMusic and Nokia 5310 XpressMusic have a microSD card slot for expanding memory up to 4 GB.

Nokia have since expanded the portfolio under this platform and introduced devices that are high on style and music features. They are confident that their new full-featured and well-designed offerings, Nokia 5610 XpressMusic and Nokia 5310 XpressMusic, will be very popular and connect even more strongly with consumers.

The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic has an iconic music slider key which enables the user to turn on the music player at the flick of the thumb. The phone offers crystal clear sound and up to 22 hours of music playback. The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic features a high-quality 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. The handset uses 3G technology, making downloads, Web-browsing and video calls faster and easier. Its other features include Aluminum side panels, a 2.2 inch display with 16 million colors and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It is capable of storing up to 3,000 songs.

Nokia 5310 is a candybar phone, which is just 9.9mm thick and weighs about 71g. The handset, with dedicated music keys, offers up to 18 hours of music playback. The Nokia 5310 XpressMusic, which comes in two colors - red and blue, has a 2 MP camera and a bright 2-inch QVGA screen with up to 16 million colors. It also backs up MP3, MP4, AAC, eAAc, and WMA formats.It has an FM radio and uses a 3.5mm earphone jack and is EDGE enabled.

Nokia has also introduced “Nokia XpressMusic”, a dedicated feature brand that makes it easy for consumers to identify Nokia’s portfolio of music-optimized mobile devices. Each mobile device with Nokia XpressMusic shares key features that ensure the best mobile music experience, including dedicated music key, music pause/resume on incoming calls, support for 3.5 mm connectors and extended battery life.

The Nokia 5610 XpressMusic is available in India for an MRP of Rs. 15,429/-, while the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic is available for an MRP of Rs. 12,549/-.
