All of the new monitors boast built-in speakers, which can either save consumers the cost of buying them separately, or save space on a desk by allowing them to ditch stand-alone speakers. Thus they are ideal for users looking for a compact solution. All three LCDs also share in common technologies which Samsung says deliver enhanced performance and image quality - an example of this is a response time of 5ms GTG.

The 920WM and 2220WM monitors have a 16:10 wide-screen format resulting in improved work efficiency, by supporting the multiple application windows simultaneously and resolutions of 1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050, respectively.

The 19-inch TFT-LCD, 920BM sticks with a conventional 4:3 format and 1280 x 1024 resolution and delivers 1000:1 contrast ratio and horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 160°/160°. The 920BM is engineered to take full advantage of everything Windows Vista offers. The built-in multimedia speakers make it easy to participate in teleconferences and to hear the audio for the stunning graphics on your screen. An ultra-fast 5ms response time ensures sharp, crisp motion video delivering enhanced motion graphics reproduction with virtually no blurring or ghosting, while exclusive MagicBright2™ technology gives you complete control over outstanding color. The 920BM is everything you need, built in.

The new multimedia monitors were designed to create a comfortable, highly-customizable user experience. To that end, all three monitors feature a detachable stand that allows for wall or arm mounting. Furthermore, all three monitors incorporate ergonomic capabilities for enhanced comfort and flexibility.

All Samsung displays are backed by a three-year limited warranty on labor and parts, including the backlight, as well as toll-free technical support for the life of the display.
All of the monitors are currently available through Samsung retailers. The 920BM goes for $249.99, the 920WM for $219.99, and the 2220WM for $349.99.
