LG has introduced a cool and eye catching MP3 player, Shining Stone UP3 S2. This small, sleek, LG baby features an OLED screen with 65000 colours. Available in black diamond, crystal silver, ruby red, pink topaz and sapphire blue, they have inbuilt flash memory capacities of either 1GB, 2GB and 4GB, and support a large number of formats, including MP3, WMA, OGG, and ASF.
A couple of features they have over the iPod Nano are the ability to record audio, and listen to FM radio. Since it doesn’t feature video playback, unlike almost all players nowadays, it probably won’t be any real threat to the Nano. Users can hook the latest UP3 S2 with USB connector and simply drag and drop the required files to enjoy their favorite music. It is likely to fare well in the market because of its cool design.LG’s latest MP3 player, the UP3, takes all the look and feel of the FM37 or the T54.
The UP3 will come in 1GB, 2GB and 4GB capacities and costs US$ 92 (Rs. 3600/-) in South Korea. Currently there’s no UK launch date, but such a release would compete with the iPod shuffle, Creative’s lovely Zen Stone Plus and even SanDisk’s Sansa Clip.
