After social networking websites bombardment of late to the Indian market, here comes a novel idea from two IIT Mumbai alumni, Rahul Gupta and Amit Upadhyay. They have launched a website ‘Vakow!’, which is a community of people who loves forwarding SMS to their friends, relatives, or a group of people.

It’s easy to build your online SMS collection on Vakow!. You can use our web interface or post your SMS from your mobile. Once you post that interesting SMS Forward of yours, users rate it up or down and if it collects the minimum score, It is forwarded to all of your subscribers for FREE. It only costs equal to non-premium number, i.e. +91 99015 54321. Once an SMS forward is up on the site, the community can rate it, tag it, and so on.
Rating allows high quality SMS Forwards to rise to the top and tagging enables them to be organized in different categories; and thus makes it easy for you to find and share interesting SMSes with your friends.
