ASUS to launch PDA phone in India


ASUS Technology Pvt. Ltd. (ASUS) has introduced the P525 quad-band PDA phone in India. It supports Push E-mail, Wi-Fi and a built-in numeric keypad to deliver a complete mobile business solution. “Business Anywhere” is the design concept behind the P525. The concept of the phone that business professionals, who are always on the move, should no longer be confined to their office desks or even wireless hotspots.

The Asus P525 quad-band PDA phone is phone is now available for Rs. 21550, via India Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt Ltd.

It comes with lot of features like email, instant message, skype, real-time synchornisation with email, phonebooks and calendar items. It has 2M-pixel digital camera which also acts as a business (visiting) card recognition device. It simply converts the picture of the card into Outlook’s contact. The 5-way joystick enables one-hand menu navigation for accessing and managing the various powerful functions. The smart PDA phone also comes equipped with a numeric keypad for easy input. 2.8 display is also a touch screen and can be operated by stylus. All kinds of word documents, spreadsheets, videos or photos, users can be saved in MySecret files and protected from unauthorised access.
